Knitting ADD

I’m starting to seriously think that I might have ADD when it comes to knitting. It’s impossible for me to focus on one project at a time. While starting my boyfriend’s neckwarmer, I also have to start Bruno’s dog sweater and even knowing this I am looking for a simple pair of fingerless mittens for myself. Not to mention the countless little side projects I’m doing to practice various stitches and patterns.

I need more coffee. I also need more yarn.

  1. I don’t know what you mean about ADD with knitting, I don’t have that problem (fingers crossed) lol! I can’t do nothing about the coffee but you can check out my yarn stash on Ravelry :)

  2. I”m very envious of knitters who can focus on one project. Even my boyfriend made a remark about it this afternoon as I was talking to myself about which socks I want to try making… “I thought you were making my neckwarmer!?” “I am…” “And Bruno’s sweater?” “Yeah, workin’ on it..” “Why not focus on one thing so you finish it faster?” “Go away!”

Going to check out your stash….:D

  3. I’m quite certain I “suffer” from project ADD. It was especially bad when I was quilting. Knitting I seem to do OK with a couple of different projects for different situations. But as I get close to finishing one I lose all interest in it and start dreaming up the next. I have to force myself to finish!
